Corporate Iloilo is a blog featuring Iloilo-based companies that are making their presence felt nationwide and even abroad. The purpose of this is to highlight the viability of starting a business enterprise in a provincial city in the Philippines, particularly one that is far from Metro Manila, the economic, business, trade and financial capital of the country.
What also inspired this blog is the fact that as a native ilonggo, the author has been amazed by the breadth and depth of iloilo's corporations in penetrating the business environment of the country as well as the national consciousness.
With this blog, it is hoped by the author that ilonggos will be inspired - or convinced- to start their business not in metro manila, but in their own hometown, iloilo, and from here, expand nationally.
